Injection Moulding Module 2

Injection Moulding Module 2

This 4-day programme focuses on techniques used to understand and map the injection moulding process, reducing moulding inconsistency by understanding its causes and effects. A strong emphasis is placed on giving participants the practical skills to apply both SPC and troubleshooting techniques

On successful completion of the course, trainees will be awarded a QQI Level 5 Component Certificate in Injection Moulding (5N3037)

Injection Moulding

Injection Moulding Module 3

Injection Moulding Module 3

This is an intense 4-day programme which covers in detail all aspects of injection moulding – both theory and practice. Training takes place at our well-equipped training facility in Athlone. No prior knowledge or experience of Injection moulding is assumed. On successful completion of the course, trainees will be awarded a QQI Level 5 Component Certificate in Injection Moulding (5N3035)

Injection Moulding Module 1

Injection Moulding Module 1

In order to enrol on this course, candidates must have already completed Injection Moulding Module 3.

Module 4 involves both theory and practical sessions.

The practical sessions comprise 65-70% of the entire module and the knowledge given during the theory session.

This injection moulding process and moulding cycle are covered in detail with each element broken down and thoroughly investigated.

There are also discussions and information on process capability assessment of a moulding process.

This injection moulding course focuses on the polymer engineering and processing principles related to achieving the optimum injection moulding process.

Astrong emphasis is placed on giving the practical skills to achieve optimum performance but supported by engineering principles. There will be some home study to reinforce the principles applied throughout the course.

Amajor benefit of the course is the restriction in numbers to ensure hands-on experience, and we also cover a lot of theory informally during the practical sessions.

Where possible we restrict Injection Moulding course numbers to just six places using up to four machines.

This module is a must for those companies wishing to improve moulding efficiency, processing performance, effective mould tool procurement and OEE enhancement.

Safety shoes are needed for this course.

We can deliver a shorter tailored programme at our centre in Athlone for you/ or on-site if you have injection moulding capability there.

Recommended follow on course:
Hot Runner Module to enhance knowledge of the interaction of the moulding process and the performance of the hot runner system to achieve optimum moulding performance.

Unique to First Polymer Training Skilinet, this customised course been designed as step 5 within our Injection Moulding Progression Pathway.
